The Fixed News component provides a display of fixed news by providing a valid news source and page number combination.  

 

Steps to Create a Fixed News Component

 

1. Create a Fixed News component by clicking on the Fixed News icon.
2. Select create new page
3. Select a news source from the drop down menu.

4. Enter a valid page numer into the text box and click go.

Change the Date

 

To view a fixed news page from a prior date click on the date highlighted below and enter the date you would like to see in its place.

Change the Display

 

You have the option to view the news story in its origional text or formatted text by clicking those boxes.
