MarketView Desktop 6.19
Changes in version 6.19
Search Usability Improvements
A new folder icon in the right side of the Edit window allows to show the folder where the selected symbol is located. Clicking on the icon will open that folder in the symbol tree.
If a symbol is selected in search mode, the new folder icon will allow to show the folder where the selected symbol is located. Clicking on the icon will close the search mode and open that folder in the symbol tree.
A new MarketView Search Guide has been created. It is accessible via the Edit window.
Folder filters will be applied automatically by selecting a checkmark or clicking “OK”.
Minor Features and Improvements
The tab size is now dynamically scaling if long tab names are entered. Tabs were previously restricted to a low amount of characters only and didn’t allow to enter longer names.
A new option in the right click menu allows to copy the symbol name to the clipboard.
Fixes and Minor Changes
Unit conversion: If a manual unit conversion value was entered in the right click menu, the system did not recognize the new value in certain cases.
Symbol search: Certain characters like “^” caused the system to crash when being used as a search phrase.
Quote panel: If two symbols were present and if sorting was enabled and if a symbol was replaced with an inline formula, the description of that row was also been applied to the second row.
Quote panel: If sorting was enabled in a quote window where an inline formula was present, the “f” symbol in front of the formula did not move to the correct row after applying the sorting.
History panel: Cell width values were not calculated correctly when “Tick” interval was selected and a new symbol was added via the Edit menu.
History panel: When the symbol name was replaced with a custom caption and if the Undo option was selected before entering a custom caption, the system crashed.
History panel: When the aggregation was set to “Seasonal Daily” and if a day in February was selected, the system crashed when a second window was opened and February 29th was selected.
History panel: When the aggregation was set to “Curve” and the “Curve Effective Date” was shown as a column, its minimum width was not adjusted correctly.
